My husband and I had our wedding reception at Howell and Dragon in January 2020. I would pick this venue over and over again, it is stunning! When I first walked in and saw the furniture in the lobby and chandeliers in the main room, I knew that it was the one! I received an email response the same day I inquired about the venue, and I appreciated the prompt response needed when planning a wedding. The whole team at CN catering was so amazing throughout the whole process leading up to our wedding day. A special shout out to Lexi Noble, because she was the absolute best. We got so lucky with her! Everyone was helpful and they were always responsive to all of our questions. Aside from the beautiful aesthetic, the food was so delicious and affordable. We’re still reeling with happiness from how beautiful and tasty everything turned out. The vision we had for our wedding reception was truly captured because they took the time to work every detail out with us. It was truly magical!
I recently used Howell & Dragon for my late partner’s Celebration of Life. Madison and the entire staff were wonderful to work with. The venue was perfect, and the catered food was great. They made an incredibly difficult day easy to plan and execute. I imagine it would be a perfect spot for a wedding.
We are so glad we chose Howell and Dragon for our wedding reception! They were so easy to work with and helped our vision come alive! We received so many compliments on how nice everything looked and how great the food and service was. Madison was very helpful and responsive. We had a guest count of 90 and it felt like the perfect size. We will definitely recommend to other couples!
I can't say enough about how wonderful a job Howell and Dragon and CN Catering did for my daughter's wedding. The venue itself is beautiful. The way they have it set up, you have a multitude of options. They provide everything from chairs to silverware. Truly a one stop shop! Brooke was a dream to work with - she is incredibly responsive and so helpful in making suggestions and showing set up options. She was patient with my never ending questions and displayed professionalism and confidence! The service provided during our event was seamless! They were well trained, non invasive, but there when you needed them and friendly and polite. To me, that is a sign of a well run organization...happy employees! Let's talk about the catering - The food was, quite honestly, the best I've ever had. A week later and people are still talking about it! Everything was hot (not luke-warm) and delicious! We had 3 different food stations and they were run like a well oiled machine! At first we thought there would be lines and it would take a minute, but, I kid you not, we blinked and everyone was served and enjoying their meal. I don't know when I will have another opportunity to use this group, but I can assure you, when I do, they will be at the top of my call list!
Recently my father passed away and the venue we had secured for his Celebration of Life bailed on us 3 days before the event! The staff at H&D were AMAZING! They worked quickly to take care of everything. The venue was stunning, and Madison and the staff set up everything to perfection. They handled the catering for us as well (CN Catering). The staff were so impeccable, I barely knew they were there. The tables were cleaned and cleared and trash was out of sight without us even noticing. The guests all commented on how wonderful everything was. Howell and Dragon took a stressful, horrible situation and helped us make a beautiful celebration of my father's life with memories that will last forever.
