I used to like this place but it ended up being the only one I ever walked out without a tip because I was charged full price for an awful experience. I came in to get my roots dyed black to match the rest of my hair. The stylist used 40 volume developer for dying my hair dark and it didn't take. She did the same thing two more times, roots still didn't take probably because the developer was so high. Then she blamed my hair for being weird- which is a gaslighting tactic used by salons when they mess up something. I've been dying my hair black for years-i know it's not weird. Anyways she washed it out the last time and started styling my hair. Blowdried is and everything. When I left to get the tip money, my head felt itchy and I went to scratch it to find a giant glob of hair dye that she never washed out still in the back of my hair. Couldn't have possibly been missed when styling my hair the last time. I will never go back.
I have taken my daughter there for over 20 years, always a wonderful experience. It is sad that Monica who has taken care of Katie for a long time is leaving. Monica recommended a replacement, so we will be seeing Darlina the next time.
