Bravo! Well done! Autumn is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I cannot say enough good things! This lovely angel came to my rescue when I called the Denton Color Lab Salon for help after a recent, and quite devasting hair "service" by a stylist in the area I live in. My once dark brown beautiful virgin curly hair was changed to a hideous copper/orange balayage nightmare that was just all wrong in every way possible (no blend, no fade, thick highlight lines and the wrong color applied). After visiting with other professionals in my area regarding my ordeal, I was desperate to find the right person who would truly take a moment to listen and had the talent and skills to transform my hair to the natural looking, rich mahogany auburn balayage I was seeking to achieve within some inspiration photos. When I called, I simply asked for the best person they had that was available soon for my color correction situation. I needed a specialist and could not risk another screw up that would damage my hair. Autumn did not disappoint! I was very nervous and she was genuinely caring for my situation, she patiently answered my million questions, and helped me find the solution that fit me best. I love my hair again and am so happy I found this wonderfully talented artist who is very knowledgeable of her craft! The salon is beautiful and everyone was friendly and very service oriented to their clients. I especially like that they use high quality products such as Redken. I live about an hour and a half away and it was well worth the drive. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend! I was there for at least 3 hours and everyone I saw leaving the salon left with gorgeous hair!
I made my appointment with the stylist when I was there after finishing my appointment. 8 weeks out. I received a text to confirm my appointment. I called to let the stylist know that I was only going to do the color. The lady that answered the phone didn’t answer the phone by the name of the business it was “hello,” so I wasn’t sure if I called the right place. I asked if I had called..and gave them the name of the businesses and she said yes. I stated that I was confirming my appointment and that I wasn’t going to do the haircut. Her tone was she didn’t have a clue as to what I was saying and so I stated she was being a ding dong..well I showed up to my appointment and guess what! I was not on the schedule. My appointment had been cancelled and moved to Thursday at 3 pm. The ladies that were there were kind enough and each slit their time to getting me taken care of. I was so appreciative of this too! (I am always satisfied with my services when I leave there each time that I have gone.)I was satisfied with my services and I left to my next appointment. While at my other appointment I noticed that I had a tint line around my face. I called them and I was told to come back and so I did. They had me sit down with someone different (that didn’t help me that morning) and she came and took off the tint line off from around my face. As I preceded to get out of the chair. She apologized for what had happen that morning and then continued with the comment that because I called the person on the phone a “ding dong” that they were giving me a warning ⚠️ and if I did it again I would be welcomed there in front of everyone that was there. I found this to be very unprofessional because she only heard from her employee. A professional way to have done this was to speak to me privately about how I had hurt the employees feelings. I did apologize to the stylist that was nervously telling me this. Well ladies, the true colors of the lady that I spoke with to me shows that she was being a “ding dong” in my view because when I arrived and you didn’t have me on the schedule…to me shows that maybe she was having a ding dong day. Other than that I love my color! I won’t be back after this.
Had an opportunity to get in with Tea' today for a shampoo, blow dry and hot iron style. She leads with quality customer service and is awesome at the shampoo bowl. She asked the right questions at the right times and did not mind a few "personal" tweeks I asked for. I can see considering her for hair color should the time arrive.
My first visit to Denton Color Lab initially was a pleasant experience as I showed a picture of the Color and style I was looking for and discussed with the stylist and was assured it could be done. After being there for 5 hours the color was not what I had asked for or discussed. The stylist offered options of what she would do on the next appointment to bring the colors more in line. I agreed to a 2nd appointment. I arrived about 15 mins before my appointment and left 8 hours later. During the appointment the color faded after shampooing. Two managers were brought over to discuss and another strategy on how to make the secondary color pop thus adding additional time and redoing some of the foils. Though some of the color is more noticeable, it still was not what I had asked for nor what we had discussed. The amount was expensive with very little reduction in price (less than 1%) after being in the chair for 8 hours and still not accurate. I thanked the managers for their time, and not one spoke or asked about a follow up thus I left. When I got home, my spouse noticed the back of my shirt is now ruined do to bleach and the other products that got over my shirt when rinsing my hair. I am disappointed as this is to be one of the top and best and the prices are high but I left both times unsatisfied. I hope the best for all but I will not return.
Fantastic salon and customer service! Autum did an amazing job on matching my roots to the color I’ve already had. She was very pleasant and explained Everything she was doing clearly. She also understood my thick hair and how to make it more manageable for me. I would recommend her 100%!
