If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Rhonda went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my wedding day. Not only does she iron out every detail, she advocates for her clients in every way possible. I always felt supported in all my decisions and really felt like she was part of the family. I remember interviewing several coordinators and after talking to Rhonda once, I knew she was the one. Rhonda handled all the details form ceremony, vendors, to decor. She was always to the point and direct with all her communication but, always managed to keep it friendly and down to earth. Her beautiful eye for design and outstanding people skills truly were one of a kind. Thank you thank you thank you, Rhonda.
A month post event, I have finally been able to sit down and write this review. Rhonda was one of the most unprofessional people I have worked with in my life. Although she puts up a kind smile, and an eloquent tone, she made my special day a lot more stressful than it needed to be. Throughout the set up of the venue Rhonda was " taking 5" throughout most of the set up time. The venue was mainly set up by my family and friends, and MY FLORIST who had to pick up Rhonda's slack. Throughout the event I would look around for Rhonda several times and she was no where to be found. Her assistant was simply sitting by the door the entire time doing nothing. She had my husband running around doing work during setup, and every time she was told that we were running out of time to set up she would ask where the other friends and family went who were helping (i dont know how or why she was relying on them). My family and friends caught her gossiping with the banquet director several times. In addition, here is a screen shot of a thread I was accidentally CC-ed in where Rhonda was straight up gossiping about me and my budget with the banquet director instead of advocating for it. I was a few weeks away from the event and was going through a lot of stress with my finals (I was doing my masters while planning this event), therefor I accepted her "sincere" apology and decided to move forward. I wish I didn't. I am not sure if she had a personal issue with me or if money was the issue. If money was the issue, I wish she had charged me more rather than putting me through all of this.
Rhonda was a GodSend throughout the whole planning process and especially on the wedding day. I cannot say enough good things about her and her team who executed flawlessly my daughters' special day. She helped with follow-ups and coordination with all of our vendors, the planning of the timeline and details and then did all of the setup and execution of the rehearsal and flow of the whole day. I can't even imagine what this would have been like without her input and her work. She paid attention to all of the details and provided input when asked and needed. If you are unsure about whether you need a Wedding Planner or not, I say YES YOU DO! You will not regret hiring Rhonda - best money we spent on the wedding by far! If our youngest daughter has a big wedding like this one, I will definitely be hiring Rhonda again!
Rhonda was AMAZING to work with. As a Director of several wedding venues, I see a lot of planners in our facilities. She was one of my favorites to say the least! She is time efficient, responsive, and detail oriented. She is truly gifted in what she does! I would recommend Rhonda and her team to any bride!
As a photographer I cannot tell you how thankful I am when a coordinator is on point and easy to work with amazing team—thanks Rhonda!!
