The shop is very clean and welcoming and the customer service is great. With that said, I asked for a specific style (lemonade) and sizing and the stylist added way too much hair into each braid (feed-ins). I inquired halfway through when I was able to take a photo of the back and let her know that the braids were very big compared to what I asked for and the photo I provided and she said lemonade braids require medium braids in the back for them to be close together and that I will see that it’s the same when it’s all done. While I understand this, the sizing I showed her is what I asked for, even if it isn’t the standard and we were already halfway through so ofcourse there’s no turning back at that point. The braids are not terrible but more importantly they’re not what I asked for, especially for $160. Unfortunately Google doesn’t allow me to upload photos but to help you understand the difference in what I asked for compared to what I got, my hair has 23 braids while the sizing I asked for (with photo) has 36 braids which makes it evident that the sizing is not what I asked for and it shows. I can tell she takes pride in what she does and is aiming to please which is why I will not give lower stars and also did not continue to fuss when she asked if I was satisfied I just said yes because either way I was not staying to do anything different. I would highly recommend allowing the client to choose their style and if you are unable to complete that style I think it’s important to be transparent with the client on what you will be doing.
I started going to Coco back in February 2018. I was coming from permed hair going back natural. My hair had broken off terribly from the perms and Kitty perms. When I went in to see Ms. Coco, she said to me, I don't know what I can do, but we will try. I couldn't sleep all night, because I was so afraid that this woman wasn't going to be able to grip my hair. I walked in looking like a chia pet and walked out looking like a queen. Thank you Ms. Coco. Also to this day, I go to Ms. Coco every three weeks to get my hair done. She's a wonderful hairstylist that will not rush and will take her time so that you can look your best.

The lady who did my hair took No breaks... she did my hair when another shop wouldn't the said my hair was too short curly and silky she gripped ALL pots n pans from my kitchen hunny I gave her a tip. she gave me a first time customer discount. Honestly not even tryna cise it but this is one of the best jobs done as far as braid wise to my hair. I'm going back it's been 6 weeks now n it still looks decent.
Last minute feeding braids they were very accommodating after trying several other hair braiding shops in the area . The young lady that braided my hair was wonderful. Will be coming back definitely!!!
