I booked Chef Derricka in September 2021. I wanted to find a black owned business to support and Chef Derricka popped up during my research. I’m so happy she did. My best friend’s bachelorette weekend was in Dallas, TX and I wanted to plan a special dinner for one of our evenings there. From the beginning, it was one of the most professional interactions I’ve ever had with a business of any kind. I received professional quotes for services, prompt responses, a phone call to double confirm what I needed, early arrival for the dinner and just an amazing experience overall. Chef Derricka’s food is absolutely delicious! She’s amazing. If you’re in the DFW area, please support her. When I visit again, I’ll definitely support again. Thanks Chef Derricka!
Chef Derricka provided personalized daily breakfast for our small group for week and she did not disappoint. Every morning we were delighted to find a new inspiration awaiting us. We savored her creamy shrimp and grits that we are still talking about weeks later. I can go on about her creative concepts from lavender goat cheese pop tarts (they were simply divine) to her rosemary fried chicken & strawberry champagne pancakes. But all of those things are truly just icing on the cake to her professionalism. Chef Derricka was prompt with her communication, thorough in going through the details of the contract and more so just an extreme joy to be greeted by each morning. Run do not walk in getting Chef Derricka on your calendar. You will not be disappointed.
Derricka and her team did an extraordinary job with their cooking prowess at a birthday party I attended this weekend at my neighbor’s home. Their fine cuisine tasted scrumptious and their desserts tasted amazing. It wasn’t overly sweet yet carefully done to hit the right spot. I do highly recommended Chef Derricka and her team for your at-home culinary needs for all your parties.
Chef Derricka, created a wonderful dining experience for a friends birthday. Only reason for 4 vs. 5 stars is the main entree chicken breast was slightly overcooked and salty. Overall would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique dining.
I am so happy I found Chef Derricka, she has a gift when it comes cooking. Her food is absolutely incredible and the experience she provided was warm and professional. I will definitely book again!
