Had my mothers birthday party here paid $300 for a table of 17 and still had to pay $10 cover fee! I understand it's to guarantee seating, the place was far from full, also, I assumed the $300 for 17 seats is not guaranteed. There was a discrepancy with one of my invites, when they asked for the manager they were told the manager will not speak with them because he is not a people person! Really!? I didn't rate the food or drink because i didn't buy anything, this place was not getting another nickel from me! This wouldn't make sense to anyone. Will never see me again!
My experience was small and very less than pleasant. I truly believe they have cameras in the bathroom. I did take shots in the bathroom which is against the rules but the host said they saw me taking shots. The assistant manager and the main manager both agreed that they saw me but kept denying it was cameras in the bathroom. I only took shots in the bathroom…I felt very uncomfortable and was escorted out after they threw half the stuff in my purse away even though the security checked my bag TWICE. 0/10 would never recommend to anyone especially loved ones having a birthday party. Please be careful when going to this place it’s no telling what they have going on with cameras in the bathroom. And I will be reaching out to authorities because again that just is not ok. Being deceitful and stalking your customers can’t possibly be the way you all train your staff. That’s clearly not good business. It wasn’t my grandmother either I never said that. Also for you to respond with something so ignorant says a lot about this establishment. I now see that y’all are losing lots of money but trying to make it back my stealing from the customers. Not once while in the establishment did I say I had any drinks but y’all said several times y’all saw me taking them. Again lying should not be the first policy towards your customers, but coming back with a false scenario of what happened is even worse. You talk about training but clearly both you (whoever so sloppily responded) and the entire staff need to reevaluate your establishment.
Love the vibe here & loved our server, Natalie! Although I enjoyed the spinach dip the entrees were just ok. 😕 We got a variety of things and the best entree was the catfish so going fwd I'll just stick to that. Had a blast though!! It's best to pre-reserve your seat which reserves your seat for thee entire night otherwise you get in where you fit in. 🤷🏽♀️ Cover charge after 8p is $10 (regardless if you reserved a seat or not) & you will be security checked which I love! This particular night we went to see Soulful Soundz Party Band, but get there a little early to participate in the line dance tutorials. That was so much fun & I learned several new line dances. 💃🏽🕺🏾🎼🎵🎹🥁🎛🎚
Went here after work one day. Loved it! Peach cobbler waffles. Syrup. Shrimp. Fried chicken. Beers. Crown apple. Outside seating, inside was closed. I was fine great customer service from the young man, I think the owners son. Mac and cheese and yams. Greens!! Great food!! I’d go again.
I came in tonight. It was a $10 each cover charge even though I brought a table for me and my friends for $50. When we got to the table I ordered a chopped beef sandwich -$9 and Hurricane drink- $9. The chopped beef sandwich was terrible (but I ate it anyway) and the Frozen Hurricane was horrible and tasted like medicine. When I told our waitress she apologized and asked if I wanted something else. I ordered a new drink. She then can back and told me the owner wouldn’t comp my drink. I literally only took 2 sips. I then asked for my bill to pay. I don’t want to spend another dime in this place. It’s really sad that the owner is so cheap and money hungry that they couldn’t even comp a $9 drink. The place wasn’t crowded at all for a Friday night. We were going to order more drinks as well but just decided not to. It’s really just the principle at this point. Very disappointing. My friends also said they didn’t like their food as well. Once I figure out how to add videos and pictures to this view I will.
