On the first note, its very beautiful place to hangout with friends and family. The wines over here were very nice and the owner is very friendly. They explain each and every wines they have , also they give samples for taste. Price starts from 25$. They don't have any non alcoholic wines. Only some juices are available for kids. Live music will be organized during weekends. Coming to snacks they don't have much options, some cheese related stuffs. Crab pancakes will be available. Packed potato chips are available to grab.
We had a wonderful evening at Rappahannock Cellars. The Tasting Manager, Sheritage, is an absolute delight! We were on site for the annual winemaker's dinner and it exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was warm and laid back, with amazing food and wine! Kelly and Teresa were so lovely and kind taking time to chat w us amidst a busy event. Truly couldn't have imagined a better evening! We left as wine club members and I can't wait to go back!
If winery hopping is about the wine, the hospitality, and the ambiance, Rappahannock Cellars scores highly on all three. Repeat visitors ought to become wine club members here, as it is one of the best club programs in the state..
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rappahannock Cellars, a charming winery nestled in the heart of the countryside. From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming ambiance that immediately set the tone for a delightful experience. The winery boasts breathtaking views of rolling vineyards and picturesque landscapes, making it an ideal destination for wine enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The owners have clearly taken great care in maintaining and expanding the estate, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and serenity. Overall, the winery left a lasting impression on me. The combination of stunning views, exceptional wines, and passionate staff made it a standout winery experience.
Great vineyard. Friendly staff, beautiful ambiance, and good wine. After a somewhat pretentious experience at nearby vineyard - you can’t stay after the tasting unless you join their club (even if you buy a bottle), we love that we came across Rappahannock. The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. Great seating outdoors. Family friendly if you need it to be. Loved the cheese board to go. We will be back!
