By far our favorite vendor for our wedding, everyone had a signature drink in hand and loved them! I would give 10 stars if I could. Heather and the Thirsty Goose team were amazing before, during and after the wedding. All their drinks are incredible and Heather is amazing at coming up with drinks that fit with you as a couple and compliment the season. Even offering to send us our favorite signature drink recipe…which we are obsessed with!! The communication and preparation was so thoughtful and carefully planned, I had no stress or worries! We will forever recommend and talk about how amazing Thirsty Goose is. Thank you again Heather for the amazing experience!!
I probably don’t have enough space here to say everything wonderful that I want to say about Heather and Thirsty Goose. We hired her for my 40th birthday party in July, and everything was perfection — I don’t know how else to describe it. We booked her a year before the event, and from the moment we had our first discussion, I knew we were in great hands. Our event was pretty big, so I did not want the stress of making sure the bar was stocked, that everyone had a drink, etc. A bartender was my first thing I decided to outsource for the party so that I could enjoy the party, and it worked out beautifully. Not to mention the cocktails were DELICIOUS and my friends/family have been talking about the drinks since the party—I don’t think many guests went too long without a cocktail in their hand. (Even our beer drinkers went for the signature cocktails!) Heather took care of everything, and she was an expert at everything she touched. She was super flexible throughout the process (I changed from the mobile bar to “just the bartender” months before the event; she created a recipe based off my favorite Detroit cocktail — the spicy mango margarita; she was super patient with me as I was going back and forth about alcohol choices, kids cocktails; she went all in with the DMB themed party; etc.) There was something for every guest, including using the cocktail mixes for mocktails. What I loved about her cocktails is she brings the cocktail bases without the alcohol, so people who don’t drink could enjoy, and she was able to adjust how much liquor went into each drink. Perfect setup. My husband and I have already decided that we will be using her for all future parties, large or small, as she makes everything so simple and stress-free. A party investment that is worth every penny. Thanks, Heather! We can’t wait to have you back.
Heather and the bartenders of The Thirsty Goose were so amazing to work with and helped to make our wedding night one we'll never forget! Heather was so helpful throughout the process – answering every little question we had and making the entire process so fun, easy and stress-free! The setup was so beautiful and added so much fun and unique character to our day – it was not just some boring old bar! All the signature drinks were so delicious and beautifully presented, all of guests were raving over them! Highly recommend The Thirsty Goose for any wedding or event!
Heather was friendly and easy to work with and helped us decide what types of alcohol to order. We wanted to keep it simple and limited, and as a light drinker and a non-drinker, it was hard for us to know what to pick! She ordered the alcohol and picked it up for us and when we overestimated quantities due to the fact that we didn’t want to run out, but people apparently drink less at a Sunday wedding, she returned the returnable items for us and helped us get a refund. We also had a really pretty water/tea/lemonade setup on a self-serve cart and Heather made a nice sign for the menu for us and was happy to change one of the fonts when I asked.
We worked with the Thirsty Goose for my daughter's wedding reception. Heather was very responsive throughout the entire process and was great with helping create our bar menu. Based on the number of guests, quantity was planned perfect so we didn't run out of anything. During the event, onsite service was phenomenal! I highly recommend using the Thirsty Goose, you won't be disappointed.
