I found Maiya's cake boutique by pure happenstance, but I'm so glad that I did! I bought her hot chocolate bombs because I thought they looked interesting. I was so impressed once I got them that I went back and placed an order for the whole family's christmas stockings, including the "adult" version which comes with a a bit of an "extra kick". I will be going back and working myself through the delicious assortment of food art that she creates! Absolutely one of Frederick little hidden gems!
Maiya was a phenomenal baker and did an incredible job with our wedding cake. She met with us for an initial consultation, then had a tasting based off flavors we said we were interested in. From there, she was able to create a unique blackberry and lemon cake that we both loved. She even added a creative flair that transformed our cake into something different and its own work of art. She was reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with.
I'm so glad I found Maiya and her cake boutique! I wanted to do a custom cake again for my daughter's 2nd birthday, but the cake I got from a different vendor last year didn't taste that great. I wanted the cake to look good and taste good this time. So I took a chance, and it totally paid off. Maiya was so patient with me and very responsive. She took all my random ideas and made the perfect cake. My whole family loved the design, and we were all even more impressed by how good the cake tasted! It was 2 tiers with funfetti cake on top and chocolate on the bottom. Omg, so good! Even the fondant was delicious! Usually fondant tastes like rubber to me. In the end, we've decided that we're going to have Maiya make all our future cakes. Thank you again!!
The cake served at our wedding was delicious! It was not only moist but also bursting with incredible flavors.
