What a great place! This restaurant is outstanding on many levels The food was delicious and plentiful I found the service to be highly professional. The atmosphere made one feel at home much like the very best vacation. I recommend Swahili Village without hesitation.
Loved this place! Food was amazing, delicious, as well as the drinks! Atmosphere was dope, decour down to the glassware was lovely. Music was just loud enough to hear it but still have conversation. Our waitress was lovely and helped us with all our food questions. Definitely be back!
Great food, service, and ambiance! We ordered the grilled chicken, lentils, spinach, chapati, and ugali and loved it. The staff were super nice. Next time we’re in DC, we also look forward to checking out the location there. Wish we had one in SE FL.
Hello Hunny Bees!!! 🌻🐝👑💛💕 It's your girl Hunny with a review of another local small business. First of all 😋. I had a doctor's appointment and decided afterwards to take my son to lunch. I googled restaurants near me and this was 8 min away so we go!!! Upon entering I received the most wonderful greeting y'all. From a server who wasn't even the hostess!!! She was checking out someone cause she had their credit card in her hand. You know I love great customer service!!! She said someone will be right with me so me and Nigel start looking around. The artwork is beautiful, the atmosphere is welcoming, clean and beautiful. The hostess came and sat us. Our server Noel went above and beyond to go through the menu with us, told us what was popular and what he recommended!!! Y'all know I love a luxurious experience! I felt like the Boss I am. The drinks were so good and the water was served in these nice oblong shaped glasses. The food was Slappin 🤤. I got the goat with jollof rice and spinach. Nigel got the curried chicken, jollof rice and pita. We also the appetizer sampler and wings. The food was so fresh and delicious. Y'all hurry up and go check them out the food is flavorful, the service is top tier and the atmosphere is welcoming. Oh I wish they would have played soft African jazz in the background it would have set that mood just right!!!! Your girl Hunny is buzzing out!!! 🌻🐝👑💛💕
I am truly a foodie! I have never been to a restaurant in 48 years where the food is extraordinary! I have my favorite restaurants in the DMV area, but this place is the best! I’ve spent thousands of dollars in some of my favorite restaurants, but this place I will spend millions! My food was so good that I can actually write a book about it! The red beans the spinach was amazing! The drinks were so exquisite, he complemented the food perfectly! I fell in love within the hour of me being there! There is now no other restaurant that I would take my family and friends to other than Swahili Village ! I can brag on this restaurant all day every day, no lie! Thank you to the Chef’s and staff! You all deserve a ROUND OF APPLAUSE!! See you all real real soon!!
