The ambiance is on point! This place is beautiful and the restroom is cute too.The Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings were cooked too long and was not served with Celery Stalks as advertised on the Brunch menu. The Bellini cocktail that I ordered was more like a sparkling cider. If you want to hang out, just chill and take photos; SoBe is definitely social media ready and yes I will give them another chance on the wings and 5 stars for the environment!
Oh boy.. lets get into it. I sat at the bar (very thin barstools btw, inviting but uncomfortable) and received a cold glare from Sabrina the bartender who looked annoyed that I was there. Without a word, she gave me some water then walked away. I was the only person at the bar. She was unattractive, dismissive and distracted by her phone. Turns out she just needed to eat. She demeanor changed after she got a few bites of her salmon. 2/5. I do recommend the drinks. Wonderful but Caution: Very well made but the glasses are ridiculously small for the price you pay. The jerk wings were over flavored with jerk seasoning and very dry. The rack of lamb might be this place saving grace. Awesome presentation, very flavorful at med- rare. Makes me wonder if their other entries are this nice. The cheesecake was just ok. Creamy but it should have thawd more. The atmosphere was lively with club music pumping. Not busy at the time I came (5pm). Not fond of the automatic 18% gratuity on every check though. I may return but not sit at the bar.
We had a great time celebrating my mother's 74th birthday with my Sister and baby brother, along with several of my cousins celebrating their 50th birthday. We packed the house inside and out with about 40 plus people. Food and drinks were good and great atmosphere and service. To my surprise, you could smoke cigars on the closed in deck. A good cigar smoker always comes prepared. My mother danced and ate right into her 74th Birthday 08/06/23. We had a blast hanging with our family. My mother is in the White 74 years young and she is the walking fountain of youth. Loved smoking my Cigars. Now the hookahs woooo they were a bit expensive but hey people were smoking them. Won't say the price, but I'm glad I smoke Cigars 😎😎
Well I visited her for a quick bite and a drink. I was informed by a great bar manager name julie who made me a very very tasty Cadillac margarita, and was very knowledgeable about the menu, the hours of operation, the events on certain days etc. This place is a B.o.B..... that's enough for me to support, but not enough for me to keep coming back but from this experience. I'll be back, you should come too. Ooo no food for me cuz I wanted seafood and they weren't serving what I planned to eat but I'll be back to try that dish.
A change of pace from dining in DC. Went here yesterday evening. I did see lots of reviews about poor service, but the experience I had with our server Justice was great. She was sweet, attentive and professional. There was a DJ that gave us everything from old school R&B, hip hop a little trap music and some Go-go. I had the Braised Oxtails which came with canbage, plantains and rice beans. The oxtails were flavorful and fell off the bone. Overall, if you're looking for a local spot for vibes in PG county for the grown folk, this could be it.
