I ordered the oxtails, rice & beans with cabbage. The food was soooo WONDERFUL and plentiful. Everything was great seasoned to perfection. I did not have too fight to get them meat off the bone. The food was hot and packaged nicely. The customer service was great. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and the experience. I will not be ordering my oxtails anywhere else. Thank you Lee’s Caribbean & Soul cuisine.
I ordered the chicken wings, yams, and Mac and cheese. Although the Mac and cheese and yams were good the chicken was undercooked in turn causing me to throw out the entire meal. After reading your reply, please just apologize and own the mistake, don’t give me a cooking lesson. Standard cook time or not 4 of the chicken wings were still pink and UNDERCOOKED. I know the difference ma’am. Keep your replacement meal as I am sure if something is wrong with that order you will offer another cooking lesson for me. How rude!!!!
We ordered the Griot with a side of rice and sweet corn. While the Griot was okay the rice had a weird flavor not that you’d expect with a Haitian meal. We also ordered the pasta the Rasta pasta.. while the flavor was okay.. the amount of heat in the dish was insane. We are people who appreciate hot food but that pasta just went straight to the garbage as the amount of chopped scotch bonnet made no rhyme or reason and can definitely not be consumed unless you’d like to spend the night at the ER or end up with an ulcer. Being a Haitian family- the pikliz also we’re terrible something we were looking forward to have. The wait time also was ridiculous!! 10mins short of Two hours is just not cool. It’s a shame.
I would give 5 stars because the first 2 times I ordered from here the food was delicious! But the last time I ordered the food was EXTREMELY salty, only could take a few bites out of it and ended up trashing the rest.
Ordered the Curry chicken and Jerked chicken both were phenomenal! Would 100% recommend anyone that has not tried yet to do so ASAP
