Awa is an amazing braider!! I have gone to her for years for a variety of styles and she is excellent. She works to fit you in at convenient times even if that means starting very early in the morning and she is FAST! No matter the style or size braids, I’m usually done in record time. I have been coming to Awa for over 7 years. I usually get crochet braids. She makes it easy and simple. She takes out my hair and washes it and puts the braids back in. She works with me when I like to switch things up. She has also done cornrows and twists in my sons hair. Our whole family loves coming to Signara hair braiding. It also helps that Awa is a great person also and very nice.
Awa is the literal best. My daughter always asked if only Awa could do my hair. She's gentle and makes sure the style is too your liking.
1 star ..I asked for 6 even stitch braids and even showed a pic of how my hair was braided previously, she instead gave me 8 cornrows that are incredibly uneven, un centered, and sloppy. My wife who doesn’t even braid hair has done WAY cleaner work! At first she tells me my hair isn’t long enough to braid (3 1/2 in.) then after she is done she tells me my hair was not long enough to do just 6 braids.. so she did 8 without even asking me. I did not even notice until I felt her finish the 6th braid and she still had more to do. 10/10 would NOT recommend!! I rolled the dice going somewhere I had never been before. Won’t make that mistake again.
Last minute call and she decided to still take me. Very nice environment and great people. They did my twist and needless to say, it turned out amazing. Thank you my make me look gorgeous again ☺️☺️.
