Saturday Morning Cafe did not disappoint!!! Our food was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the seafood omelet. Please be prepared if you are paying by card instead of cash, there is an upcharge, however, the food was worth every penny. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Baltimore.
1st time visiting at their new location and tho it's been a few years since we've been I wanted to go for my Birthday Brunch and once again did not disappoint! We started our with their Strawberry Lemonade and omgeee! , was so delicious, then I had the Seafood Omelet and the crab meat was plentiful and blended so great with the Swiss cheese! And the side of potatoes were seasoned so good and hubby had the Baltimore Benedict and said it was delicious as well ! Him being a sous Chef he said the hollandaise sauce was immaculate as was the poached egg and on top of a tasty crab cake. We got 1 big Belgium Red Velvet waffle for our "dessert" and came out looking like a bday cake ! The portions are plentiful and so filling that we had had to take the rest to go. Trust the majority of reviews as this place has been around for many many years and is one of the best spots around B'more, staff is very friendly and welcoming and who doesn't like being able to order breakfast all day ( well the hours they are open)
This is the second time my hubby and I have stopped by for brunch— around our wedding anniversary. (We come to Baltimore to “get away” from time to time). We’re always in search of new, independently owned/operated restaurants to try. If you are looking for a quaint, homestyle food spot- this is it. Cozy, unique- yet classic… overall, good food. Homemade/family vibe. We had chicken and waffles, biscuits/gravy. Always yummy. The chicken and waffles both had a nice flavor. Staff/owner pleasant, service was good. A nice leisurely spot to chill and relax w good food and attentive staff.
We went here for breakfast while visiting Baltimore. It was exceptional! I ordered the seafood Benedict, and I may come back to Baltimore just to have it again. My companion had a simple breakfast of eggs, toast, and fruit, and it was still elevated to a level of gourmet quality. Fresh ingredients, beautiful plates. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast!
Food absolutely was amazing. Get the smoke fried chicken Benedict with hollandaise sauce. Paired with the scrapple. Melt in your mouth deliciousness.
