Rudy Matthews from Rudy Matthews Photography, was a dream to work with. He was not only fun, he was funny, creative and professional. Rudy is not just a photographer, he is truly an artist. He has a gift of taking beautiful pictures using light and shadows to breathe life into every picture. Rudy was so easy to work with. Initially I felt very awkward, I did not know how to stand or what exactly I should do with my hands, or my feet. Rudy calmly gave directions which allowed me to become comfortable and at ease throughout the session. He consistently told me, not to worry, I got you! His professionalism, skill, attention to detail, guidance and creativity paid off 100%. I love my pictures! And it’s obvious that Rudy Matthews loves his work, he is a master photographer. We deeply appreciated all of his hard work and will most definitely recommend his services to others as well as call on him in the future for our photography needs.
Rudy is one of the best photographers I ever had the pleasure of working with. He was hired to photograph an apartment community I managed at the time and did an astonishing job. The weather was not in his favor but being the true artist he is every picture came out perfect. Rudy is very professional and has a wonderful personality which combined made a truly wonderful experience. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an out of this world photographer. He is the best at his craft.
Rudy was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end!! My family hadn't taken professional family portraits in years and I was interested in finding a black owned photography business to make that happen. He promptly responded to my initial calls and was flexible to accommodate my families' availability. I let him know the colors we had planned and my ideas for the shoot and he got right to work keeping consistent communication up to the date in regards to any changes or ideas. The shoot went great! It was exactly what I wanted which was to have some fun with my loved ones while creating memories we could enjoy for years to come. Rudy did a great job of helping us coordinate poses to make sure we got the look and shots we wanted and allowed us to take multiple shots to give a variety to choose from. The service was professional but it truly felt like working with a friend that we'd known for years. A lot of laughs and a great final product! 5 star!
Rudy is a creative, thoughtful, and engaging photographer with an eye for interesting and different photographic perspectives. He has mastered how to capture and enhance lighting whether he's shooting outside in natural light or indoors with flash/studio lighting. He takes great pains to regularly go out and find great settings and locations so he can make informed recommendations for your particular situation. He is patient and meticulous in his editing and will ensure that your final product is done to your satisfaction. Rudy's approach is to make you feel comfortable while being the consummate professional. He will design a photo shoot that far exceeds your expectations.
Omg! Where do I start? It was an absolute pleasure working with Rudy. I had a photograph that needed to be restored and Rudy was able to complete the job in fine style and with a quick turn around delivery. Less than a week. His service was impeccable and his personality is not only professional but so positive and enlightening.He made me feel as if I was apart of the project as he communicated with me while working on it. He is a man of his word and the best that I have encountered in the DMV area. I have a photographer for life and I feel blessed to have been able to experience outstanding service and value for my money. He made my hubby's birthday magnificient by restoring that master piece with his magical touch! Thank you again Rudy for your phenomenal service and we will definitely be in touch!
