I went for a family member’s birthday. The food was okay. I got Salmon (I’ll post the photos) Collard Greens, and Mac & Cheese. Salmon was 6.5/10 a little dry, needed more flavor and I didn’t like the chili sauce. Collard greens 1/10 the flavor was bland & the food it self was hard I can’t explain it & when I let my cousins try it they said the same thing like maybe it wasn’t all the way cooked idk. But yeah, Mac & Cheese was a 9/10, so cheesy & flavorful. I also ordered tacos. The catfish tacos 10/10 & are 3 any flavor for $11 on Taco Tuesdays. My homegirl said the Alfredo was good. The service was okay there was music playing. There is gratuity so that could possibly explain why the waitress was a little rude.

Ok, so this was my first time here and I felt safe because there is security at the door that checks bags. I was shocked because this was at 11am lol. This place has a cool bar with TV's and cool drinks. It is a small establishment so if you would like to come and enjoy the food and the atmosphere definitely come early unless you like crowds. So the service was good had a wonderful waitress but the food was okay, it was definitely average and what really struck me is that they had catfish on the menu but I was tasting trout. But other than that the Grits are good the eggs are okay and the vanilla french toast was really good as well. The bacon was okay, it tasted like that paper bacon that is already precooked. Definitely would think about that and the fish that supposed to have been catfished. But other than that this is a cool place to come to

You can’t go wrong with Rosa’s bar especially for brunch. They come through every time. I had catfish, grits and strawberry Hennessy French toast. All of the food was delicious. The bartender Nikki is so cool. No complaints.

I write this as I’m currently having my dining experience here… I will say, I truly love that there’s a Black space for us to brunch and enjoy and feel at home. I enjoyed our waitress, I enjoyed the atmosphere. I did not drink, but the rest of my table said the drinks were amazing. But the food. I’m unsure. Maybe I made the mistake of ordering fish and grits (something I don’t typically order out), but I expected the fish to be fresh. This IS Baltimore and we ARE in very close proximity to many seafood markets/distributors/etc. Catfish shouldn’t be mushy in mouthfeel, nor greasy. I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t catfish and was actually swai which, is a deceptive business practice but I’ll digress. The eggs were struggling… only to be saved by the grits, which were a bit dense, and I could tell they probably were made more to pair with the shrimp option over the fish. All in all, this my first visit, and I’m going to chalk this up to me picking the wrong menu item. Looking forward to coming again.

I had an overall good experience. Waitress are nice and easy on the eye, drinks were made well, and the music was a vibe! My food was decent. Glad it’s made to order. They should probably clean their grill or not cook omelettes as long.
