Made a reservation for 0730. The restaurant was packed and we were able to be seated as we entered…. That was definitely top tier. Ordered salmon bites and coconut shrimp for starters. Tasty quick and great starters. Then our server, Shay gave recommendations on drinks. I completely enjoyed my yellow drink but forgot the name. My date had a bob marley and enjoyed that as well. We both did curry shrimp for our main course with an order of plantain. Portions were perfect, taste as authentic enough and also suitable for a palate not used to Caribbean food. Gratuity was included. And my server Shay said if she could she would have given me a senior discount. We suggested to her that they do a senior discount and seasonal menu changes. No complaints wonderful service!!! And very nice atmosphere!
Great Experience! I’ve wanted to visit for some time an finally did! Walked in on a Monday around 6pm, no tables open but plenty of bar seating since we did not have a reservation. Once seated the bartender came right over to greet us and provide waters, she also let us know about happy hour. We started with two of the happy hour cocktails, they where ok but nothing amazing (very sweet for my taste). I had the salmon bites - Good not very flavored the sauce was a little sweet, Baked Mac & Cheese - Amazing super hot and a good cheese pull, Callaloo - was good but way too salty for me. My guest had the goat with white rice & plantains, the plantains were really good. My only issue was my food came out first as I tried to wait on the goat but that dish took 15-20mins after my food arrived. I wouldn’t mind waiting, and we received our food at the same time that way we can eat together and enjoy your food at the same time. Because I tried to wait my food started to get a little cold while my guess was waiting their food to come. I was already done, and they had just started eating. I am fully aware that goat will definitely take longer than the other items that we ordered, but it’s all in the timing of the kitchen, and making sure that things come out at the same time since we were at the same table. The ambience and service was amazing. The music was really good and the bartender continue to check on us. Everyone was super friendly, nice and professional. This is definitely somewhere I will return, but I will make a reservation to make sure that I can sit at a table. The bar chairs were not super comfortable.
I visited earlier this week to celebrate my friends birthday. Our waiter Shawn definitely set the time for a great experience. His food recommendations were on point, no complaints. We were seated quickly and our orders were placed almost immediately. I enjoyed the experience and will be returning.
The experience was amazing. Inside and outside dining available. It's in a shopping center so plenty of parking. Easy to get to location. In-flight Caribbean theme. The servers call themselves flight attendants and use flight related terms. I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. I would definitely recommend this to any and everyone. I am planning to come back and try this place again before it gets to cold outside.
Amazing food, amazing service, beautiful restaurant. Me and my boyfriend went here today and had a great experience. Our waiter, Shawn was very friendly and attentive and stayed in character the whole time to fit the theme of the restaurant. Even the hostess made us feel like we were taking a flight. We ordered the oxtail which was delicious and jerk chicken which was a little spicy but delicious. The presentation was nice and paired perfectly with everything. I got the island gyal drink and my boyfriend got the bob marley. We wish the drinks were a bit stronger but overall 10/10 .
