The styles and service have been an amazing experience for me. From giving exactly the look that I need to being timely in their responses regarding scheduling, pricing and/or style options. Definitely recommend them. Ethel has been my “go-to” but as I watch the other ladies work their hands so swiftly and carefully through other clients, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. I’m hooked for sure.
I went there for Passion twists. I told them I was coming in conditioner because they said don’t blow dry my hair . Keep in mind they charged me 250 and I brung my own hair!!!!!! I get there they tell me they don’t wash hair and have no where to wash it out! We ended up washing it out in bathroom! Then the stylist was horrible at blow drying my hair! ripping it out because she didn't comb it ! She did not blow dry it thoroughly and it was not straight ! It looked fine when she was done because it was wet and she used alot of gel. By the next morning it was unraveling and looked horrible . I went back they blamed it on me for not coming blow dried! They took it out and refunded me this on the day before my Maternity photos !!!! The stylist was dead wrong for this ! Your better of going to Kedus braiding in silver spring MD OR ANYWHERE ELSE !!!! The point is if she knew it was not going to work she never should have did it that way to begin with ! But instead she did it and took my money . I if it was blow dried right it would have been straight ! You also saw me say that i was coming in conditioner and did not respond! I SAID WHAT I SAID !
It was my first time trying Dilis after finding them on IG. The quality of my braids was definitely not worth the price paid. I had to go back for them to fix unraveling braids a week later. I am really disappointed my braids have not lasted 3 weeks ☹️. The ladies seem sweet, and I was hoping this would be a good spot I could stick with but I literally just wasted $300 on a 3wk style. I was told that my hair was cut blunt and was the reason for several pieces of hair sticking out the braid—mind you I’m completely natural and had just had knotless braids prior. I wear braids all the time and get my ends clipped on a regular to keep my hair healthy. I have never had a braider tell me that was the reason for hair sticking up because they usually know how to do a tuck and braid.
Let me start by saying that I have A LOT of hair. I found this salon on IG and was not disappointed. The ladies there were friendly and fast. I had one person working on me. She put the first braid in at 4:11 and I was in my car backing out at 8:13. Parts are neat, the she was clean, and the quote via text was exactly what was charged. The braids were quality. I’ve found my new place.
After my service today, I had to leave a glowing review. Wonderful experience all around. Great service, friendly stylists, and excellent quality. I mean, these parts are perfection, and the style I showed is exactly what I got. Will be back. I love this place and am glad I found it!
