Amazing experience at Hair + Space. The staff is all amazing especially Kristin. They are so good at listening to what you want and providing it with no issues. After moving to the area I was worried about finding a new hair salon but this is definitely going to be my place from now on.
First time visiting the salon. I went for a routine trim. My scalp feels cleansed and just much better than I walked in. I think I’m more patient with detangling my hair, which is my reason for one less star. But the stylist and customer service 5/5. I’ll be back The salon gives an upscale touch. Get there early because the gps and hotel will confuse you.
Kayla is truly amazing at what she does. This is my second hair cut and blow out with her. I came in January with very damaged hair in need of a professional touch. She delivered that and more. My hair is healthy and thriving under Kayla’s care. I also want to acknowledge the professionalism of the receptionists as well. They are always so warm and welcoming.
I went to Hair and Space recently for a routine trim. My previous stylist had moved on from the organization prior to me making an appointment, which meant I had to find a new stylist to work with my hair. Upon reviewing the salon’s Google review, I noticed Xiomara had a lot of positive reviews, so I decided to book with her. Xiomara did an excellent job explaining the health of my ends and how much should be cut, but allowed me to make the final decision in the end. Nonetheless, I left with my hair looking even and healthy thanks to her professional advice, and she was able to complete the service in less than 20 minutes. I’ve honestly never had a bad experience at this salon & plan to return regularly for future hair care needs.
I hate to leave this review, because this is a space I think the black women can go for quick blowouts or any basic hairstyle for us. However, I wish they would re-evaluate their cancellation policy. Paying 100% of the service is quite egregious and is not fair in the case of emergencies, especially to frequent customers like myself. I can understand 50% but %100 really is not fair. Their stylist has the chance to take a walk in, but the customer now has to rebook and pay for twice the services, one they never get to recover from. This has really put a sour taste in my mouth with Hair and Space and I'm not sure if I will be returning. For sure I will not book my service at the end of an appointment. Since you can't plan for emergencies and the business has no interest in working with the needs of their clients. Very sad.
