I've had such an amazing experience with Julia! I received a gift certificate for a prenatal massage that I used a few weeks before my due date. At that time, I was struggling with sciatica/low back pain. Julia was clearly knowledgeable and so in tune with what my body needed as someone who was heavily pregnant. She also gave me a 50% discount on a postpartum massage! I'm so glad that she did, because after giving birth I ended up with even more severe sciatica pain on the opposite side that made it difficult to even walk. When I tried to schedule a postpartum massage online, Julia didn't have availability for nearly two weeks. When I sent her a message about my pain and asked if she could see me any sooner, she was able to accommodate me the next day! Again, Julia knew exactly how to help. I was nervous that I may need to leave the session early since I have a newborn and a 2-year-old at home, so Julia made sure I had my phone handy and she attended to the painful area first to ensure that was taken care of before I left. I ended up being able to enjoy the entire massage, and I came home feeling so much more relaxed and balanced than when I'd come - ready to take on the adventures of being a mom of two! Thank you, Julia. I'll be back again soon :)
This place is a hidden gem! Julia gave me a sensational massage that was relaxing and loosened up lots of tight muscles. The spa is clean, welcoming, and serene. I have experienced several different types of massage in a variety of spas and this one is top notch. I highly recommend it and will be returning.
Had an incredible facial massage. The experience begins with the space itself; a gorgeous landscape to greet you. Every step of the experience is thoughtful and a journey into deeper relaxation and harmony. You feel truly held by an expert healer who uses many tools including gua sha, rollers, kansa wands, cupping, healing sounds, aromatherapy, and massage. I highly recommend her and look forward to exploring more of her healing modalities when I'm in the area.
Fibre is such a treat! I’m new to massage/ body work and Julia is amazing - she made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and well taken care of the whole time. You can tell she has thought through the details of the visitor experience, from providing house slippers and a foot bath as a transition when you arrive, to offering tea and snacks on your way out. I recently had a classic massage which greatly helped ease the tension in my body, and I’ve also had an Aromatouch session - after which I felt relaxed and smelled amazing. The space is quite cozy with lovely decor, and it’s nice to have individualized attention. This place is a gem!
I had a 90 minute rebalancing massage, which included acupressure and reflexology at the end. My experience was lovely and would highly recommend this therapist. The spa setting is very serene, as you enter through a garden patio area into a sunroom where she greets you. The private spa room is equally nice. First, she explained the session since I was a new client. Then, the session began with a foot bath (optional) but highly recommended. The 90 minute session doesn’t begin until you are on the massage table, which is quite generous, and I don’t believe typical for spas. At the session’s end, you can regroup in the sunroom area and look out at the garden. I like to shop locally and support small business owners. I intend to return here again in the future. Please consider this small business professional over a chain massage place.
