Arrived with the managers arguing so loudly - we stood at the door and had to wait for them to stop and acknowledge us. Then we had to wait an hour after our reservation for buffet to get set up. Our reservations was at 11:30 AM they opened at 11:AM The food was very underwhelming, cold and old fish and chicken. The bathroom had no soap. Just a small bottle of almost empty sanitizer. definitely not worth $50 per person. The atmosphere was decent and the DJ was a nice touch. Also the security guard was rarely at the door and did not speak clearly. The Manager was nice and came out to apologize and I appreciate that, but it did not make up for the bad experience. My first and last time there.
I order the Oxtail meal like I do a lot here usually it is on point. I decide to go yesterday with my family I order my food to go got back home to eat my oxtail had no sauce and on top of that my peppers had a sticker on it. Almost like it wasn’t even washed just cut and cooked I couldn’t even eat it after that it was a mental thing but my waitress was great music was great vibe but the food yesterday was not up to standards and suya was extremely dry
We had a blast ! The food is amazingggg 😍 def worth it . If you’re looking for a brunch spot this is def it in upper Marlboro.
Sunday's brunch at Famous Lounge was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the customer service was exceptional and DJBuck50 kept us thoroughly entertained. The entire staff, including the servers, was truly amazing. I must give a special shout-out to Vanessa, who provided us with outstanding service. Despite the venue being packed to capacity, she took the time to explain the situation and we greatly appreciated her attentiveness. Being able to enjoy our brunch at the bar area added an extra touch of elegance. Without a doubt, I will be celebrating my birthday brunch at Famous Lounge.
The food was delicious and worth the wait. I ordered the grilled salmon with spinach and jallof rice. Very tasty! The sides were a good portion - spinach and onion rings. The DJ provided a good music selection. The environment was friendly. Our server was great!
