Rented the party bus and it was nothing as pictured on the website or what was described to us . *Extremely* dirty and run down on the inside dirty on the outside. Outdated and disappointing. We were mislead upon booking as we were told specific characteristics that were not in the bus we got. We didn’t even have the driver we were assigned, which included a phone number so obviously they switched us out for an inferior vehicle shortly before pickup. I do not recommend. 1 star only because driver was nice
I recently used DMV Party Rental for an youth pride in event in Montgomery County. Their customer service was great from start to finish. They were on time and efficient with putting together tents, tables, chairs and a bounce house for the event. Their pricing was great too!
Tent was old and worn; and chairs were rickety and rusty. A few guests felt uneasy sitting in the chairs. Despite my husband being outside with the guys who installed the tent pointing out and having the sprinkler system marked in the yard, a stake was driven into our one of our pipes. Called several times to speak to the manager and she was never available for the phone nor returned any of the messages I left.
ABSOLUTELY the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE we’ve experienced from DMV Party Rental in Woodbridge, as we had rented from them previously. I left 4 messages for the “Manager”, and sent pictures of defective items, but never got a response from her. I reserved tables and chairs from DMV Party Rental in Woodbridge one week prior to our event and paid for them in advanced. When we arrived to pick up our order, we noted that several items were either unsightly or defected and the warehouse manager acknowledged this. However, she stated they did not have replacements items. Because our event was the next day, we had no choice but to accept the defective items. I wanted to registered a complaint and ask to speak with a supervisor. I was informed that the manager was on vacation and would call me Monday. I was told that their policy is to return calls within 24 hours. She never contacted me, so I called her Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, each time I was given a different excuse for her not returning my call or not being available.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I had made a reservation for March 26, 2022 and when I arrived at the location Saturday morning between the pickup times 10am-1pm which are listed on the confirmation, there was no one there. My daughters party started at in 1.5 hours and I had to find another company that was able to help me out since you could not. Also, what is the point of having an emergency number when you don't even answer it. I called and left messages and still received no response. I didn't even get a call that Monday apologizing. I won't book anything with your company again and will stick with Gift Wraps & Party Rentals.
