This place is absolutely REMARKABLE. I have been back many (many, many...) times and every single item I have ever tried has been absolutely fantastic, from blackberry cheesecake ice cream, to strawberry shortcake cupcakes, and of course to the absolutely to-die-for cheesecake slices. I'm normally not a cheesecake fan, but the cheesecake here has amazing flavors while also managing not to be overly heavy. I also brought a whole cheesecake to a family function awhile back and it was a huge huge hit! Cannot recommend this bakery highly enough. The owner is absolutely lovely as well and is so nice every time I see her working the counter.
Codetta bake shop is my favorite bakery of all time - absolutely everything from here is amazing. I had Maya + the Codetta team make the dessert for my wedding: 2-tiered cake with cheesecake layers, dozens of cupcakes, and cheesecake squares. It's all the guests could talk about! Codetta is my absolute favorite bakery in the city! Cupcakes are my favorite dessert, and nobody does them better than Codetta. The weekly specials are an amazing deal (four cupcakes for $10), especially considering how high quality they are. The cake is extremely soft, fluffy, and not at all crumbly. The frosting to cake ratio is perfect, and the flavors are fun and innovative. The owners are incredibly responsive and friendly. I trust them to resolve any issues promptly, since they genuinely care about their customers' experiences and the quality of their treats. They are constantly experimenting with new flavors and partnering with other local businesses. I love that we have such a great spot in Fed Hill! I'm always excited to see what Codetta comes up with next!
Codetta bake shop is an awesome place to get your favorite desserts! The cupcake flavors are always changing and it’s exciting to see what unique and delicious flavors there will be to try next! The cheesecake is AMAZING. I got two cheesecakes for the holidays (eggnog and caramel apple) and they were so good. Everything about the cheesecake itself was perfect. Flavor, texture, the homemade whipped cream. YUM! Definitely try some of her many flavors and variety of desserts!
The definition of a hidden gem - some of the best cheesecake I've ever had - the banana pudding was fabulous and truly I don't believe you could go wrong with any of their sweets. The love and care in the preparation is evident and delicious.
