I come to Bushelers around once a month to get alterations done and they are so awesome!!! The service is of high quality and the knowledge that they have helps me stay sharp each time I go in.Aaron makes you feel like family and really takes his time with you to make sure your getting exactly what you need. If you are looking for a place to get any tailoring done this is the spot to go to.
*This was for a wedding dress* Aaron has EXTREMELY poor communication from beginning to end. Constant changing appointment dates and pickup times. Hem came undone within 10 min of wearing the dress, loose threading throughout bodice. He was given over a month to complete the simple bodice adjustment, and shortening the length. The hem was also crooked and obviously done in a rush, and I suspect possibly done the day I picked up. To make matters worse, I tipped 27% after I was convinced my alterations would be done earlier than requested. The cherry on top of this disaster sundae...I was not given the opportunity to try on the dress when picking up...was handed the dressed bagged and ready to go, once again being reassured the alterations were done correctly. I had to rush to pick up my dress when it was convenient for him (and his wife), but also rushed because they themselves had an appointment to attend!! I was also told that I was picking up outside of their business hours, even though that is when he seemed only willing!! VERY disappointed after going out of my way to support this black owned local business, who I feel is falsely advertised as "specialist" in tailoring. Professionalism does not exist here, nor respect. 10/10 do. not. recommend.
I took my mother of the bride outfit, which included pants and an overlay gown, to Aaron for alterations and he did an amazing job. He was able to taper the pants and add length to the sleeves so that they covered unwanted parts of my arms. He did a great job. Highly recommend.
The best alteration experience I’ve had by far! Aaron is very professional, personable, and listens to what the client wants and is able to accomplish the clients desire! I am recommending to everyone!
This was the best experience I’ve ever had when it comes to alterations and tailoring. Aaron was very friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding. His prices are very reasonable as well. I’m not taking my garments anywhere else.
