I ordered over the phone and it still was not ready for pick up when I arrived. They were out of beef patties, which I ordered, and they had to reimburse me. They seemed very unorganized. Also, most importantly, the food was underwhelming at best. Although it may look delicious in the pictures, the oxtail was not very flavorful and the rice and beans either. The cabbage was OK, but they should have at least included a few plantains like most Caribbean and restaurants… I will not be back.
I would give 10 stars if I could. This was some good authentic Jamaican food with spicy juicy jerk chicken with cheesy flavorful Macand the cabbage was cooked just right with the perfect taste. Lee (the owner) was a true host and let me try the brown stew chicken, curry, and the oxtail. RESPECT!! I will be back for that stew chicken ASAP.
I absolutely love this spot. The jerk chicken and rice and peas is phenomenal. The Mac and cheese is fantastic. I was lucky enough to sample the jerk Mac and cheese and that was even better than the regular one! Absolutely will go back, in fact this was my second go around here with the family. Well be back again. Great service and food. This place gets busy so keep that in find if you're very hungry.
I found this place through word of mouth, they had great things to say about it so I wanted to check it out. I work in the area and I ordered it before heading it to the location for pickup. It wasn’t too far from me but It is tucked in business area so GPS Is your friend if you go for the first time. There was plenty of parking around the area and when I walked it it was very clean, well lit and inviting. My food was in the pickup area bagged nicely and ready to go with my name clearly marked on the receipt. I did have a question about my order and the gentleman behind the counter assisted me. He was very nice and helpful, before he assisted me he was talking to a gentleman and I liked how friendly he was being with him as well. My food was packaged well and had utensils in The bag. Now the food; the food was hot, flavorful and I felt like It was worth the price. It was some of the best I’ve had in a while. I will definitely be going back for the food and service!
Legit and delicious Jamaican food, seriously the best stuff I've found outside visiting Jamaica. Jerk chicken, rice and peas, plantains, curried goat was great. Really good flavor. The chef was nice and gave us little samples of oxtail and stewed chicken which were amazing too. If you've read this far you gotta give them a try. If you don't know what you want just talk to them and they'll get you fed good.
