This is a truly special place. I live 45 minutes away, but I try to come every Sunday that I can. No matter who you are, expect to be warmly welcomed by the people and the music when you arrive.
What a lovely homie place to enjoy local jazz and culture. Every Wed and Sunday night from 6-9p. It's a 501(c)3... Alcohol free, $10 cover. Great artists. Great mission. What else is there to say... This is a low-key gem of Brookland and 5 minutes from the metro, right next to a delicious pizza place (menomale) and a great neighborhood gastropub (Brookland's finest) :)
I am looking forward to the re-opening once it's safe again.
