I had the pleasure with working with Jenn for my couple's wedding in July. She was so easy to communicate with when creating the couple's timeline. Day off, she was also on top of her game! Looking back at the photos made me feel like I was there again, celebrating with the couple and their guests. Jenn truly is talented and the photos are stunning! If you are looking for a photographer, hire Jenn! You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to work with her again.
Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was incredibly professional and made us so comfortable on our wedding day. We received a handful of edited photos about a day after our wedding and they were stunning. She also worked great with my one-year-old nephew! We highly recommend Jenn to anyone seeking a photographer for their wedding.
Jenn was our photographer for our 2020 elopement as well as our big wedding reception in 2022. I’m not exaggerating when I say that before we decided on a date for our 2022 wedding reception, I checked to make sure Jenn was available. She is that good. She’s an incredibly skilled photographer but I think what truly sets her apart is how warm and kind she is. She makes you feel comfortable no matter how awkward you feel in front of the camera. I think her ability to connect with people is what allows her to capture the most beautiful candid moments. I can’t wait to hire her again when we bring little ones into our family!
We were referred to Jenn Tai by our wedding planners. We spent $4,410 for 6 hours of wedding day coverage with 1 photographer. Our photographer was Kelly Bowie. From the moment Kelly arrived at our wedding it felt like amateur hour. Even though we met with her in advance of our wedding and sent all the details in writing, she “forgot” pretty much everything we discussed. For example, Kelly forgot to bring the list of family groupings for the family photos. Kelly also forgot that we needed seating for disability accommodations during the family photos and chose a location that required our elderly and disabled guests to walk down a hill and then stand outside in the August heat for almost an hour with no place to sit. Additionally, during the ceremony Kelly’s presence was very distracting. We were in a small greenhouse with multiple entrances where she could have easily walked around the guests to get from one point to another but instead she walked down the aisle and in front of our guests multiple times during the ceremony. If it’s possible, when we received the photos we were even more disappointed in Jenn Tai Photography. There was a real lack of attention to detail that was visible in the photos and that you expect a professional photographer to be aware of. For example, in several of the photos you can see phones visible in pockets, hand sanitizer clipped to belts, etc. Also, some of the key photos were overexposed and as a result faces or images were so light that detail was lost. We brought a lot of these issues to the attention of the company owner, Jenn, who did her best to address our concerns during post-production editing. Jenn’s customer service was great and we know that she worked hard to try to correct the issues with our photos. Thank you, Jenn, for doing your best to fix our photos. Overall, we’re still not happy with most of our wedding photos, but thanks primarily to Jenn’s post-production work we have a small percentage of wedding photos that we love and will cherish.
HIRE JENN TAI! From the moment we met her, my husband and I knew she was the photographer for us. Jenn is professional, super fun, easy to work with, and has an incredible eye. She captured our wedding day perfectly; every moment, pose, laugh, hug, and ugly cry! She made us feel comfortable from the start. We had a ball at our wedding, and Jenn's photos remind us daily. We loved so many photos that we could not fit them into one album. Thank you, Jenn! We love you!
