I recently moved from Pt. Ruston. I tried out a different Aveda salon and my haircut was the worst I have ever had. My husband of 50+ years kept asking me “what have you done to your hair?” Also, the stylist at the different Aveda salon was running 35 minutes late…so I felt rushed the whole time I was there. I asked for highlights and she said “you don’t need them.” When she applied my root coloring, my scalp burned intensely. I have never had my scalp burn with Aveda products at the Intaglio Salon. Also, the stylist tried to wash out my root coloring at 25 minutes instead of the 40 minutes, which is required for my gray hair. I was timing it and despite the burning of my scalp, I requested that the color stay on the full 40 minutes. The stylist didn’t even offer to style my hair…she just wanted me to leave with wet hair! Also, she wouldn’t take a credit card for her services…only cash or a check. Needless to say, I will never go back to that horrible salon. I called Tesha at the Intaglio Salon and was able to immediately book an appointment with her to fix my hair. Tesha is outstanding in all areas…haircuts, highlights, root touch ups, etc. Tesha really listens to her clients and doesn’t rush the process of getting the customer’s hair to look right. Tesha made me feel confident and like myself again. It takes me two hours each way (four hours round trip) to drive to the Intaglio Salon in Point Ruston, but it is worth it to have Tesha do my hair. She is absolutely the best!
Intaglio salon is AMAZING!! If I didn't move out of state I would be coming back there forever. All of the staff and hairstylists have been absolutely wonderful! I recently got my hair cut at a different Aveda salon hoping it would be a good replacement, but I was sadly I was mistaken. I miss getting my haircut by Tesha! She is absolutely amazing at her job and is a super sweet person. I will definitely be scheduling when I'm back in the area.
I made my first appointment with Intaglio Salon In January. This cut was okay, but this was a first visit. My next appointment was for a cut and color, but did have to come back for an "adjustment" in the color, and was told it was just a misunderstanding. That stylist left shortly after my next haircut. I made an appt for a cut and color the beginning of May just prior to going out of town. When I arrived for that appointment, I was informed the appt was for a cut only and they could not do the color that day.....that would require yet another visit. Fast forward to my next visit, when I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that they had been trying to contact me as the stylist had already left for the day. As it turned out, someone had entered a completely different persons name and information in their computer booking system. In an attempt to appease me, they made an appointment with someone else for the following Sunday. Less than 24 hours later, I receive a phone call to notify me that they would not be honoring the appointment due to that stylist did not want to stay that late (3:00pm) Sunday. So, another appointment that never happened. It really should not be this difficult to get your hair cut!!
Tesha is the absolute best. She fixed my color challenges (always too red) and gives a fantastic cut. Plus, she is a great conversationalist -I always look forward to my time in her chair.
This place has such a great vibe! Tesha always does an amazing job and really listens to help you figure out how to achieve the look you want. :)
