Becky at Travel Connection set up an amazing trip to Ireland for us. Since it was our first time there, she created a trip that helped us to go and see the things we were most interested in and took a lot of the worry out. Everything was ready for us. We also appreciated how she listened to what we wanted and created an experience around that.
The Travel Connection assisted Saint Charles Borromeo Parish in Parma, Ohio with coordinating a trip to celebrate our Centennial Year in September 2022. The office staff took care of every question we had and they did a great job helping us with the itinerary, tickets and so forth. Pat and Mark, along with the rest of their team, understand the complexities of booking large groups and are willing to help as needed. I could not recommend them enough!
In the future I will not use a travel agent. I was paired with a new travel agent at Travel Connection who is so sweet but very inexperienced. She did inform me that it was her first trip that she had planned so I expected some bumps in the road. However, the planning experience was extremely stressful. I decided to work with Travel Connection because of the pleasant experience I had with Heather in 2017 when going to Tokyo. Our travel agent informed me that the company revoked her access to company software therefore she had to go through other staff members to get invoices, make updates to our trip, and other important tasks. As a customer I am not interested in internal conflicts, I just wanted the planning of my birthday trip to be stress free. That is the reason we chose to use a travel agency. My major issue is the travel agent not paying attention to detail and just so much back and forth. Because of the lack of attention to detail by the travel agent I was charged/overpaid for one night. I was never reimbursed by Travel Connection or Apple Vacations. My friend and I decided not to book excursions through the travel agent. That was the best decision we could have made! Our travel agent should have been paired with a more experienced agent to plan the trip.
Been working with Travel Connection for many years traveling primarily for business. Our company has less employees than before, but Becky Donaldson still treats me as an important customer, offering great service, and respects my travel needs. Becky is absolutely the best!!
