Amber was amazing, she created a beautiful cake for our wedding and carefully delivered it 2hrs + away from her shop right to the beach where we had held our ceremony. We had no idea what it looked like right up until the point it was time to have cake, but we trusted in Amber's talent completely and we were rewarded with a cake that was beyond perfect in its looks and taste. We literally ate cake for 3 days straight(it was that good).
What a dream it was having Amber make a cake for my outdoor elopement. I stumbled upon her website after scouring the internet for someone who could create something elegant and delicious - she nailed it. Amber was very responsive which gave me peace of mind knowing that her creativity was going to shine with the details I provided about the theme and vibe I was aiming for. She truly cares about doing a fantastic job and making any moment whether it's a wedding, birthday party, or "just because" special. Overall, I would highly recommend Amber and I cannot wait to connect with her to request a larger cake for our reception.
Sift and Gather has been an absolute dream to work with on multiple occasions. Even though I have many clients who have chosen them for their Wedding Day or Elopement, this one really went above and beyond. I had a Client who's beautiful Mountain Top Elopement was met with torrential downpours, snow and and made it near impossible to photograph, let alone set up a table from them to enjoy their cake cutting. The cake made a round trip of 6 hours back to the shop where she took the time and care to bring it to life again, so we could go back up to the mountain later that weekend. She replaced the flourishes, fixed blemishes in the frosting from "my own lack of smooth travel". The couple was so over the moon excited and the cake was delicious and beautiful. I can't say enough things about how wonderful Amber and her team are, she is an artist and a truly amazing person!
Amber was absolutely amazing to work with! My husband and I had an elopement in early August in the mountains, and she was highly recommended by our photographer. It's clear why! She was easy to work with, communicative, and super flexible. The cake was absolutely delicious and BEAUTIFUL. Highly recommend if you're considering having any sort of cake at your celebration!
My husband and I got married up at Mount Rainier in October, and Amber made our wedding cake, and I can say with 100% honesty that this was the most visually stunning and (most importantly) DELICIOUS cake I've ever seen or tasted. From the moment I first reached out to her, I knew we'd made the right choice! She has this incredible positive energy, where she makes you feel like she's truly excited to work with you and make your day special. She worked with our florist to coordinate color scheme, and I was just blown away with how it turned out. Besides it being just gorgeous (and soooo much taller than I had even imagined.... yay, more cake!), this was seriously the best cake I've ever had. At the end of the night, we went into a local diner for dinner, and we actually shared our cake with a bunch of people there that we met, and they all agreed that it was the best cake they'd ever had. Just can't say enough good things about Sift & Gather /Amber. Thank you again. My husband actually just asked me tonight, "do we really have to wait until our 1 year anniversary to eat the cake in the freezer?"
