I've been a customer for 6 months and I'm so pleased with the whole experience. From reception/welcome to the service and environment, I genuinely look forward to my monthly visits to the salon. Ita, my stylist, came highly recommended to me from several friends and I couldn't be happier with her care for my hair and our rapport. I grew up as a "shop kid" and have been a patron at many salons over the years, but I really appreciate the vibe and the the professionalism I've experienced here. Thank you Mr. Naturalz staff!
Eke is awesome. She makes me feel so welcome and at ease. The entire shop is welcoming, I feel at ease when I arrive. Best ambiance in a salon. I will definitely be a regular
Always on point and professional. Staff treats you like family and make sure you are satisfied with your visit. I've been coming to Mr. Naturalz for over 5 years now and I am always happy with the service I receive. I remember when it was only Ruben. Shamporia is my stylist...always good energy and she never disappoints !!
Loved the vibes here. It’s honestly so hard to find a shop/salon for African American people here in Washington. I only got my hair cut (Like all cut off. So a pretty basic request) so I can’t speak to much about it but I love the staff. They seemed close and have a strong black female presence which I love. I would rate the barber a 4/5 because my appointment was set a specific time and I wasn’t sat until about 2 hours I believe. Not sure how your time management can be that bad. I felt forgotten about. BUT with that being said I appreciate the experience as a whole. The convo with the ladies, the music and optics (watching their relationship with one another) made up for the lateness. They also acknowledged and apologized for the tardiness. Will definitely go back to try a hair style next time. I’ll rate that later.
I was very reluctant to come on here and write a review as I never do, but after considering what I experienced I thought I should. I currently have locs and I needed quite a few of them to be repaired. I made an appointment with the intent of them being completely fixed by the full interlock maintenance and reattachment method. I paid the fee and went into the salon for a consultation on May 5th. After arriving on May 19th, 2023, my appointment was with a trainee by the name of Duril. Had I known that Duril didn’t know what he was doing I would have never scheduled an appointment and paid $350.00 for the terrible job that was done to my hair; and money wasted. Not only did he not know what he was doing; Mr. Naturalz salon had the nerve to have a media person recording the underwhelming service. Not one loc was reattached and what he did was braid and twist my hair together with minimal tool use. Saying I’m disappointed with this salon is an understatement. I will not be returning or recommending this salon. Respectfully
