Emily High is the most competent, efficient, sensitive, and artistic photographer our family has ever worked with. She recently shot our daughter's wedding at a country club in Dayton and the results were absolutely gorgeous. She deftly managed large groups of people, unexpected changes, difficult personalities, dog handling, and even an unexpected stain on my daughter's gown without missing a beat! And all while taking beautiful shots that captured the moments of our day without the photos looking staged or phony as some wedding photos can look. She is unbelievably talented. Highly recommend.
Emily is such a great photographer to work with! She did our engagement and wedding photos and they all turned out beautifully. I didn't really have many ideas but she picked out great spots. For bridal party shots and getting ready shots she and her assistant were really helpful, always fixing my veil and even pinning the boutonnieres on the guys. My husband and I aren't huge fans of being the center of attention but she was great at getting us to relax. At our wedding ceremony and reception she wasn't intrusive at all - I practically forgot she was there but she captured all the important moments. You can't go wrong with her!!! She's willing to travel some too so don't worry if your wedding isn't in the St. Mary's area.
