Grilled shrimp w/ rice, delicious and light. The brisket sandwich.. wow. Brisket was PERFECT, has that caramelized-type crunch. Super friendly too! Absolutely would recommend and will have to go back when in the area.
First off, delicious. Whatever you get. Just 🤌 i had the chopped chicken salad, mac n cheese and greens and the hubs had the catfish and mac n cheese. Good flavors! Second, they are SO nice! They talked about being in the process of getting on a Disney show called "Restaurants at the End of the World" which sounded super fascinating. But, topic at hand, food was fantastic, vibe was fun, and the people are awesome!
Amazing find! Mom had salmon cakes, bf had ribs, I had a Reuben, which was the special of the day.. They were kind hearted and down to earth. Price decent and the food was unreal! Really really good! We walked in and had to be rolled to our cars, insides ready to burst and out hearts content with an amazing experience. Highly recommend
I had the shrimp rice bowl and it was amazing! Husband had the chopped cheese sandwich, the sauce they make for it is such a game changer. The Mac and cheese bites are perfect and also served with an amazing home made sauce. Ended the meal with red velvet banana pudding, SO GOOD! You could tell everything was homemade. So delicious. The owners were very friendly and willing to answer questions about the menu. I want to try everything on their menu.
Was visiting the area from out of state and went here for dinner after receiving multiple recommendations from the locals to check this place out. Arrived at the restaurant around 7:30pm. The employee that was taking my order was somewhat rude when communicating with me while another employee would walk between my friends and I on multiple occasions without once saying excuse me. After placing our order, we waited roughly 45 minutes for our food. When my food arrived, the broccoli and Mac and cheese was lukewarm while the catfish was just warm. The Mac and cheese was very bland and dry. The steamed broccoli had an after taste that I couldn't put my finger on. The catfish was decent but only after it was dipped in hot sauce. As an Out of Towner soul food connoisseur, I was disappointed with my experience at this establishment.
