DELICIOUS and authentic BBQ. This is the real thing! Smokehound catered 8lbs brisket and 8lbs pulled pork for our family picnic. We picked up from their truck at a pre-designated location on their way to a bigger catering event. Leonard was exactly on time, professional and a sweetheart, to boot. Soooooo highly recommend!
I had the pulled pork and brisket combo plate and it was the most delicious food I've ever eaten. With the 2 sides, i had coleslaw and baked beans. Everything was perfect! WOW
At Veterans Backyard Bash, had a Philly Sandwich with cole slaw. EXCELLENT!!! I am very critical of cole slaw, and theirs is in the top I’ve had. The sandwich was delicious and packed with great flavors.
Caught them at District 1 Brewing today. The brisket was super moist, nicely trimmed, and had a good crust on it. Large helping of the pulled pork which is great on it's own but also rocks in a sandwich with some slaw on top. I had all four sides, and it's a tie for my favorite between the potatos salad and the baked beans. Both of themjust made youwant to keep going back for more. Slaw is creamy, with a nice crunch, and the mac and cheese was spot on delicious. The North Carolins sauce has a really good vinegar bite to it, and reminded me of when we used to get Scott's Barbeque in Goldsboro NC when I was little. Smokehound definitely gives you really good value for the money. I will definitely be stopping by for more.
This is some dynamite BBQ! Quality ingredients, great flavor, and smoked right. Best brisket I've had outside of Austin (and maybe inside!) The Philly is the best sandwich I've had in my life. Even the sides are show-stoppers. So lucky to have these guys in the area. I'd drive a while for some of this.
