Sharontay is the best braider hands down she does great work, she’s fast, kid friendly & my daughter Logan named her “The Best Stylist In The World”. The salon is clean & everyone is polite & welcoming.
I went in expecting to be in for some time. However Dashawna got me in and out in about 45 minutes. With the care instructions that she gave me, my hair still looked great 3 weeks later. Her new location has great parking and the salon is amazing. Check out her back to school specials. I'll be back.
I wish I could give zero stars. If you want to keep your edges and thickness, stay away from this salon. I should’ve known it would end in disaster. I was in contact with Shawnie and sent a picture from her personal Instagram showing the style I wanted. She assured me she would pick up the hair for the style. When I arrived, she was at the beauty supply store across the street and let me know they didn’t have the hair for the style. After driving an hour to her salon I had the choice of either leaving or getting a different style. At some point during the appointment I told her the braids were too tight…fast forward two weeks and I can see the hair around my hairline is being pulled out. I removed the braids and my hairline is about ONE INCH PUSHED BACK. I have never had that happen from braids before. I am SO DISGUSTED. also, my hair is considerably thinner. I had a baby and cancer and my hair looks worse after Shawnie’s braids. Trust me STAY AWAY IF YOU LOVE YOUR HAIR!
Well I wasn't going to write a review on this place, but since Google asked me about it I'll give my experience, first of all the girl that did my hair called me 20 min before my appt to tell me she didn't have braiding hair. Which I sure she knew a day prior she was running out of hair. And yea in her defense I booked late, but it was other lady's getting their hair done who also needed hair. She tells me I can use my own hair, but still was 30 min late because she had to purchase hair for her coworkers. On top of everything she had the nerve to charge me 25 for a wash! Like girllll I should of got a discount because I was on time. She was late!! This the reason I don't do these establishments. Their late and unprofessional I'll NEVER go back. Actually I have someone who I normally go to she was just busy. That's my review.
I got medium knotless braids and received SO MANY compliments on my hair. Highly recommend, these ladies know what they’re doing! (And they are punctual!!!)
