Fantastic experience with my 5 yo daughter! This was my daughters first salon experience and Tanisha was amazing with her! Incredibly professional and her work is stunning and quick. We felt so welcome and even though my daughter was being her dramatic self Tanisha kept a smile on and was so kind! We will be back! You will not regret her work! The salon was very comfortable and professional too.
The owner never showed up for the appointment I’d scheduled with her, and I haven’t heard from her since. This was on the day of my anniversary so I was very upset about this, and I had taken an Uber to get there. Thank goodness I was able to get another appointment after a woman getting her nails done found someone to do my hair last minute. In the past, she cancelled an appointment just hours beforehand after it’d been scheduled for over a week so I should’ve known better than to go back. I even recommended another client to her salon, and he’s gotten her hair done by him twice but I’m going to recommend him to someone else because I’d hate for this to happen to him.
I absolutely loved my braids done by Decorous salon. I got braids done for my MMA fight & it was the best braids I’ve ever had done for a competition. They stayed in so well & looked amazing!!🤩🤩 100% coming back!!
Went here after a year with no retwist. She does excellent work and is very efficient. 10/10💯
After months and months of looking for the right beautician, I decided to go with Decorous Salon. With 5 stars and 73 reviews, what could go wrong. She was very pleasant and we spoke pretty much the entire time I was in her chair. Truly enjoyed the conversation and loved the outcome of my hair (locs) even more. The issue came when it was time for her to retwist my hair. This was my fist time getting twisted and she said she wanted to see me again in three weeks. NOTE: I have really FINE, SOFT and curly hair that gets matted quite easily. After reaching out to her to retwist my hair she was unavailable and never offered a time suitable for her. I texted her asking for the product she used so I can retwist my own hair. Well, she never responded. During our conversation, I stressed to her the headache I experienced with other beauticians. Silly me for expecting a different outcome. So after paying almost $200 to get my hair twist, much of my hair matted up and I spent hours detangling and retwisting myself. I understand locs is a journey and self upkeep is required. However, when a beautician start the process, they should finish it, accordingly of course.
