I absolutely loved my experience at Daddy’s Soul Food. When you walk in you immediately get a family vibe from the decor and old school music. Staff are warm and welcoming. The prices are phenomenal for the quality of food they are providing. They let you try samples of their menu and every thing is fresh! This is the best fried chicken I’ve had in Milwaukee. The portion sizes are delicious.I highly recommend giving this place a try. The only thing I think could improve are the cornbread muffins(they taste a little lemony and slightly over cooked, maybe it was just an off batch) , but everything else 10 out of 10! I will be back!
Daddy’s was a great experience. The atmosphere felt like home. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. Shout out to my man Jay who was a blessing to meet. The food was ridiculously good! My wife and I loved everything we ate. The bathrooms were clean. It don’t get any better than this! If you are in the Milwaukee area you have to stop here for a great soul food experience. I could go on and on but I’ll stop right here.
The ladies were polite but no enthusiasm at all. The baked chickem was phenomenal. The green beans were seasoned perfectly 🥰. The forn was suspect...the smell of it was bad. The taste was just as it smelled. The Kool-Aid is extremely sweet. The fish was cooked perfectly. Sweet potatoes were super sweet. The mac and cheese was good, could use a bit more seasoning. The cabbage was good as well. The place was clean overall. The women's bathroom had no soap. There were also no paper towels. There was a hand dryer in there, not sure if it worked.
The chicken had CRISPY skin and the meat was moist 😋 the Mac and cheese was on point the greens and the cabbage side were both very good I love the sweet potato 🍠 my only thing is that it said cornbread included but I never got it 😢
Our church group [15 of us!] had a lovely lunch experience last Saturday, Sept 30th. We all raved about the food! The staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming, not to mention accommodating to our large group! We especially enjoyed the ribs and catfish and my personal favorites were the mac and cheese and the candied yams! Best I've ever had!!!! You can see and taste how much they care! The atmosphere was also terrific!!
