I was completely surprised when I walked into this place and it was such a lit atmosphere for brunch Saturday morning! I went with a group of five girls and we had a great time! We had a reservation and had no issues. We ordered a mimosa tower that was huge for $60 and we each order entrees that were to die for! I personally had the buffalo catfish and trust me, I left no crumbs! My cousins had the lamb chops, another had the steak, chicken wings and waffles and pork chops. Everybody loved their food, although I wasn't terribly impressed by the grits. Overall, I will definitely return. Forgot to mention the DJ was amazing too!
The heart of Kinnickinnic!!! This place is fantastic. At first, you wouldn't be able to find it because it's blended in with the other buildings around it, but once you find it, you'll never forget it. The owner Mike is amazing. Actually, the whole staff was great... professional and nice. And the food... oh me oh my!!! Delicious 😋
I had very high hopes for this "Bistro" experience. I had traveled to Milwaukee and saw many post on the internet about this place...unfortunately it was a terrible experience. The actual restaurant is beautiful has sky high potential. The execution was way off! Me and my guest dressed for a night on the town, I've visited bistros in Chicago and the vibe is intimate and classy. As we enter there is extremely loud "drill" music playing on the sound system that was much larger than it needed to be. In the back there was a birthday party of extremely loud ladies, we were set right next to them. Another table of 6 was sat next to us,eventually we were all moved because no one would ask the ladies to bring it down, in fact they increased the volume to drown them out but it didn't work. The server approached, my first question was do you have any specials? He replied "we don't have nothing on sale"....so that's all you know to be a special? Not the frozen drinks or anything...😒. So my date asked if there were any larger sized sides that we could share, he responded yes the lobster mac comes in a big bowl. 🤔. All the sides came in the same bowls.😒. The drinks were excellent I will say but it was down hill from there! My date ordered the fried lobster tail,lobster mac and grilled asparagus...tail was dry and overcooked with plain hot sauce on the side, mac was mushy and bland and the super thin asparagus was burned. I had the lemon garlic salmon, collared greens and garlic mash...salmon was overcooked, collareds were salty but the potatoes were good. As we waited for the food a server gave us free shots, my thoughts were because the birthday party made everyone uncomfortable. So the check comes and there is a $20 gratuity on a 2 person $120 bill so....no tip and the server got an attitude about thatthat!. All said and done its taken me a week to write this review ( I didn't want to be mean,just factual) because I had such high hopes to support a black owned business but it's a NO for me! Belli's Bisto & Spirits I cannot recommend.
We had a large mimosa for the table. I had shrimp and grits I wish the tail would’ve been off when cooked. Needed salt and pepper and was a little dry. (Grits) Good music. Good vibes. They walked around passing out tequila shots. Ima a brown liquor gal. It was a decent time for brunch though. We really kicked it
The Dinner Experience exceeded our expectations! I had some questions & contacted them via FB. They were very helpful at answering my questions prior to booking. I'm So glad I booked!! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice, a fun & chill type vibe. Date night was perfect. Thank you to Mike & staff. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend visiting Belli's Bistro.
